A live murder mystery played out across the hidden rooms of the Palace Theater in North Beach — while the largest BNI networking gathering the Bay Area has ever staged unfolds around it.
Bring a guest. Bring three. Pack the joint — we want every seat in the main bar filled. Each guest will need their own ticket.
The Palace Theater isn't a themed bar. It is a working 1920s prohibition-era speakeasy — 10,000 square feet of vaudeville cabaret, illicit bar, crooked casino, and secret passageways — hidden behind an unmarked clock-repair shop on Broadway since 2016. And every night it operates, it employs Bay Area artists.
Independent venues like this don't run on goodwill alone. Every $120 ticket directly pays The Palace Theater along with the cast, crew, musicians, and Joshua Smith and his team at Jaxon BBQ & Provisions on the floor that afternoon. Your ticket keeps a working theater working.
You're not just buying a Saturday afternoon. You're putting a checkmark next to "yes, San Francisco still has places — and people — like this."
Your weekly chapter is forty people you already know. This is the only Saturday all year the rest of BNI Bay Area — Peninsula, East Bay, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, North Bay — sits in the same room.
That's hundreds of new referral partners across industries your chapter doesn't cover. In one afternoon. Without a single visitor day.
Every chapter below is invited — across all five Bay Area regions. Members and their guests welcome. Don't see your chapter? Reach out and we'll add you.
We've reserved space across the hidden rooms of the Palace Theater — a private speakeasy complex. Vintage cocktail bar, period decor, room enough for the Bay's largest cross-chapter networking afternoon.
The entrance is unmarked. There is no sign, no marquee — look for Sam Lee's Laundry, to the left of the Chinese restaurant at 644 Broadway, and the door will take you back to 1923.
